AN INTRODUCTION
Welcome Motor Inns was originally established by disillusioned chain moteliers. Moteliers, with a vision of creating a pro-active democratic organisation, launched a co-operative.
Welcome Motor Inns Co-operative Limited, trading as Welcome Motor Inns is now the only NON PROFIT Registered Accommodation Co-operative in Australia.
Our Mission Statement – ‘All members are entitled to have an input as to how the co-operative is conducted and no member’s opinion is overlooked’.
Franchising – a diametric method of branding? Franchising – a corporate vehicle for profit on behalf of the entrepreneur? We believe a co-operative is the only choose in presenting a Motel Chain to the market whilst maintaining the profit with the operator.
We believe in the KISS method, thus keeping ‘member costs’ associated with maintaining a chain to a minimum.
